Using Advanced RAR Repair to Recover Damaged RAR Archive |

When your RAR archive is damaged or corrupt due to various reasons and you cannot open it normally, you can use Advanced RAR Repair to scan the RAR archive and recover the files it it as much as possible.

Start Advanced RAR Repair. |

Before recovering damaged or corrupt RAR archive with Advanced RAR Repair, please close WinRAR and any other applications that may access the RAR archive. |

| By default, Advanced RAR Repair will recover and extract the files in the RAR archive into a directory called xxxx_recovered, where xxxx is the name of the source RAR archive. For example, for source RAR archive Damaged.rar, the default output directory will be Damaged_recovered. If you want to use another name, then please select or set it accordingly: |

You can input the output directory name directly or click  button to browse and select the directory. |

| Step 4 |
Click  button, Advanced RAR Repair will start scanning and repairing the source RAR file. Progress bar  will indicate the repair progress.
After the repair process, if the source RAR file can be repaired successfully, you will see a messagebox like this:

Now you can open the output directory specified in step 3 and check the recovered files in it. |

The demo version will display the following messagebox to show the success of the recovery:
where you can click  button to see a detailed report of all the recoverable files in the RAR archive, including the file name, the original file size, the recovered file size, the recovery ratio, and the recoverable status, like this:
According to the report, you can know whether Advanced RAR Repair can recover the files in the RAR archive successfully. However, the demo version will not output these files. Please order the full version to get them. |
