Explanation: This error means DataNumen Outlook Repair fails to initialize the MAPI subsystem and cannot continue the recovery process. The possible reasons are:
1.Microsoft Outlook is not installed on your local computer.
2.Microsoft Outlook is not set as the default e-mail client on the local computer.
3.You are trying to run a version of DataNumen Outlook Repair whose bitness is different from that of your Outlook.
1.Install Microsoft Outlook on your computer if it has not been installed yet.
2.Set Outlook as the default e-mail client on the computer, as follows:
2.1 Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2.2 On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.3 Click the Programs tab.
2.4 In the E-mail box, click Microsoft Outlook.
2.5 Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
3.Restart DataNumen Outlook Repair to repair your PST files.
If the above steps do not work, or you have already set Outlook as the default e-mail client, then please do as follows:
1.Check whether your Outlook is 32bit or 64bit version.
2.For 32bit version of Outlook, you need to run "DOLKR.exe" under the DataNumen Outlook Repair installation directory manually.
3.For 64bit version of Outlook, you need to run "DOLKR64.exe" under the DataNumen Outlook Repair installation directory manually.
