Step 8: Recovery in process
In this page, DataNumen NTFS Undelete is recovering the files and folders you select from your drives according to the recovery options you set, and output them into the output folder you specified in step 6.
In the upper part, the progress bar will indicate how many percents of the recovery have been done. You can also see the time consumed for the recovery process.
In the lower part, the recovery log box will display the detailed log information about the recovery process, mainly used for error diagnostic purpose.
Depends on the number of files and folders you select, the sizes of the selected files, the recovery options you set, as well as your computer's hardware/software configuration, the time consumed by the recovery process may vary from several minutes to several hours.
During the recovery process, if you want to abort it, please click "Stop" button in the bottom-right corner of the dialog, otherwise, please be patient and wait for the completion of the recovery.
After the recovery process is completed successfully and at least one or several files or folders have been recovered, then you will see a messagebox saying "Selected files and folders have been recovered and outputted to folder xxx successfully! Now you can open the output folder and access them.". Click "OK" button, you can now browse the output folder for the recovered files and folders.
In the wizard page, you can click the "Save Log" button to save the recovery process log into a file. You can include additional information in the log file by selecting the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog. These information can help our technical supports to diagnose your system and solve your problems more efficiently.
You can also click the "Restart Wizard" button to restart the wizard and recover other files or folders you want.
