Repair file

Click "Repair" tab in the main dialog, you can start repairing corrupted dbx and mbx files:

1.Input or select the corrupted Outlook Express dbx or mbx file to be repaired. Outlook Express stores all messages of a mail folder in a corresponding .dbx or .mbx file. You can click the search button find to search and select the dbx or mbx files to be recovered on the local computer. Or click here to know how to find the dbx file manually. 2.Specify an output directory in "Output recovered messages to:" text box. All the recovered messages will be saved to this directory. The directory can be a full-qualified one or a relative one.

3.Click "Start Repair" button to start the repair process. You will see the change in the progress bar. If you want to abort the repair process, click the "Stop Repair" button.

4.After the repair process, all the messages recovered from the corrupted dbx or mbx file will be saved to the output directory. Then you can import these messages into Outlook Express.

5.You can click the "Save Log" button to save the repair log into a file. You can include additional information in the log file by selecting the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog. These information can help our technical supports to diagnose your system and solve your problems more efficiently.

Note:

If you are using a demo version of DOER, then it can repair the first 10 messages in your dbx file, all the remaining messages will be replaced with demo information. In addition, you will see a messagebox after the reparation, where you can click the "Show Repair Report" button and see a report of all the recoverable messages in the dbx file. Please order the full version to get all messages.
