Q: What's DataNumen Outlook Express Repair?

A: DataNumen Outlook Express Repair(DOER) (formerly Advanced Outlook Express Repair) is a powerful tool to recover emails from corrupt Outlook Express DBX and MBX files. It can scan the DBX/MBX files and recover your emails in them as much as possible, so to minimize the loss in file corruption.

Q: What is the current version?

A: The current release version of DOER is 2.5.

Q: How to determine whether DOER can repair my dbx or mbx file successfully, according to the results generated by the demo version?

A: Please just use the demo version to repair your file normally in "Repair" tab. If it can be repaired successfully, you will see a messagebox after the reparation, where you can click the "Show Repair Report" button and see the detailed report of all the recoverable messages. In addition, the demo version will save 10 recovered messages to the output directory. As for the remaining messages, a prefix "(Demo)" will be added to their names and their contents will be replaced with demo information.

According to these information, you can know whether DOER works on your file and order the full version to get all the recoverable messages.

Q: Which type of dbx and mbx files can DataNumen Outlook Express Repair repair?

A: DataNumen Outlook Express Repair supports to repair Microsoft Outlook Express 4.x mbx files and Outlook Express 5.x/6 dbx files.

Q: DOER has repaired my dbx file(or mbx file) and outputted all the recovered eml files into a directory. Then how to import these emails into Outlook Express?

A: The demo version will report all the recoverable messages in the dbx or mbx files and output 10 messages, with remaining messages filled with a demo information. To get the remaining messages, you need to order the full version.
