Q: What's DataNumen Outlook Express Drive Recovery?

A: DataNumen Outlook Express Drive Recovery (DOEDR) is the savior of your Outlook Express data. As long as you have stored Outlook Express data files (.dbx files) on your local drives or disks in the past, then for whatever reason you cannot retrieve or access your Outlook Express data, you can always use this magic tool to recover Outlook Express emails from the drives or disks for you.

Q: What is the current version?

A: The current release version of DOEDR is 1.0.

Q: How to determine whether DOEDR can recover emails from my drive or disk successfully, according to the results generated by the demo version?

A: Please just use the demo version to recover emails from your drive or disk normally in "Recover" tab. If some emails can been recovered, you will see a messagebox after the recovery process, where you can click the "Show Recovery Report" button and see the detailed reports of all the recoverable emails. In addition, the demo version will save 10 recovered messages to the output directory. As for the remaining messages, a prefix "(Demo)" will be added to their names and their contents will be replaced with demo information.

According to these information, you can know whether DOEDR works on your file and order the full version to get all the recoverable emails.

Note: As soon as the data disaster happens on your Outlook Express data located in the source drive or disk, please DO NOT write or change any data on that drive or disk. DOEDR will only read data from that drive or disk and will NEVER write or change any data on it!

Q: I failed to recover emails from my drive or disk with DataNumen Outlook Express Drive Recovery, why?

A: If you cannot recover the required emails from a drive, you may try to recover emails from the disk containing the drive, if both fail, then please contact with our technical support: support@datanumen.com. If possible, please also save the recovery log into a file(make sure the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog is selected) and attach it in your e-mail.

Q: How to order the full version of DataNumen Outlook Express Drive Recovery?

A: The demo version will report all the recoverable messages in the drives or disks and only output 10 of them, with remaining messages filled with a demo information. To get the remaining messages, you need to order the full version.
