Recover emails from multiple drives or disks

Click "Batch Recovery" tab in the dialog, you can recover emails from a batch of drives or disks:

1.Specify the format of the source Outlook data in "Source data Format" combo box. Note if you specify "Outlook 97-2002" format or "Outlook 2003-2013" format, then all drives or disks to be recovered in batch must contain Outlook data in the same format, for example, Outlook 2003-2013 format. If the actual format of one drive or disk is different from the format specified in "Source data Format", then the data on that drive or disk will not be recovered properly. If you don't know the format of the Outlook data on the drive or disk, then you can select "Auto Determined" so that DODR will determine the format of the Outlook data automatically.

2.Specify the format of the fixed target PST files in "Fixed file format" combo box. All the recovered PST files will be output in that format. If you have Outlook 2003-2013 installed, then you can specify the output format as either Outlook 97-2002 format, or Outlook 2003-2013 format. However, if you have Outlook 97-2002 installed, then you can only specify Outlook 97-2002 format. You may also select "Auto Determined" option so that DODR will output fixed PST files according to the version of Outlook installed on your computer, i.e., the fixed files are in Outlook 97-2000 format if Outlook 97-2002 is installed, or in Outlook 2003-2013 format if Outlook 2003-2013 is installed.

3.Click "Add Drive/Disk", a dialog will popup, where you can select a drive or disk to be scanned, as well as the output fixed file name, then click "OK" in the popup dialog to add these information to the "List of drives or disks to be recovered" list. The initial recovery status is "Not Recovered". TO PREVENT OVERWRITING YOUR Outlook DATA ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK, PLEASE DO NOT SELECT AN OUTPUT FIXED FILE ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK.

4.Click "Remove Selected" can remove the selected drives and disks in the list.

5.Click "Remove All" can clear the list.

6.After the drives and disks to be scanned and recovered have been added into the list, click "Start Recovery" to recover all the drives and disks in the list one by one. After data in one drive or disk have been recovered successfully, its status will change to "Successfully". Otherwise, its status will become "Failed". You can also click "Stop Recovery" button to abort the recovery process. In that case, the recovery status of the drive or disk will become "Aborted".

Note:

AS SOON AS THE DATA DISASTER HAPPENS ON YOUR Outlook DATA, PLEASE DO NOT WRITE OR CHANGE ANY DATA ON THAT DRIVE OR DISK WHERE THE OUTLOOK DATA ARE LOCATED ON. THEN YOU CAN USE DODR TO RECOVER YOUR DATA. DODR WILL ONLY READ DATA FROM THAT DRIVE OR DISK AND WILL NEVER WRITE OR CHANGE ANY DATA ON IT!

TO PREVENT OVERWRITING YOUR OUTLOOK DATA ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK, PLEASE DO NOT SELECT AN OUTPUT FIXED FILE NAME ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK.

If you are using a demo version of DODR, then it will scan your drive or disk, recover data on it, and output a fixed PST file containing all the recovered messages and other items, with the actual contents in them filled with a demo information. Please order the full version to get all the recoverable contents.
