Repair file

Click "Repair" tab in the dialog, you can start repairing corrupt DBF file:

1.Input or select the corrupt DBF file to be recovered. You may also click the search button find to search and select the DBF file to be recovered in the local computer.

2.Specify the new file name in "Output fixed file as:" text box. After the corrupt DBF archive has been recovered, a new fixed one with the given name is generate.

3.Click "Start Recovery" button to start the recovery process. You will see the change in progress bar. If you want to abort the recovery process, click the "Stop Repair" button.

4.After the recovery process, a fixed file with the given name is generated. You can open it with popular DBF utilities, such as WinZip, WinRAR, etc.

5.You can click the "Save Log" button to save the repair log into a file. You can also include additional information in the log file by selecting the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog. These information can help our technical supports to diagnose your system and solve your problems more efficiently.

Note:

If you are using a demo version of DORCR, then after the reparation, it will show a report of all the recoverable items in the DBF archive, but will not output the fixed archive. Please order the full version to get the actual recovered DBF archive.

If the corrupted file is neither DBF file nor self-extracting file, then DORCR will scan the file and try to extract DBF archives from it.

If the output fixed file name has ".DBF" extension, then the output file will be a DBF file.

If the output fixed file name has ".exe" extension, then the output file will be a self-extracting file.
