# How to Create a Two-sided Nameplate with Your Word

## Create a Two-sided Nameplate

The whole operation requires three major parts. First, you have to set up the page layout, and then insert a table, and finally, insert WordArt. Following are detailed steps to each part:

### Part 1: Steps to Set up Page Layout

1. First and foremost, open your Word to create a new blank document.
2. Click “Page Layout” on the “Menu Bar”.
3. Then click “Margins” in “Page Setup” group.
4. Next choose “Custom Margins” on the list-menu.![Click "Page Layout" -> Click "Margins" -> Choose "Custom Margins"]( "Click \"Page Layout\" -> Click \"Margins\" -> Choose \"Custom Margins\"")
5. Now the “Page Setup” dialog box will pop up.
6. Click “Margins” option first.
7. Set “0” for all margins so you won’t need to crop the paper after printing.

9. Next click “Paper” option.
10. Choose a paper size. Here we just choose “A4” for example.

### Part 2: Steps to Insert a Table

1. Click “Insert” on the “Menu Bar”.
2. Then click “Table”.

4. In “Insert table” dialog box, set “1” for “Number of columns”.
5. Set “2” for “Number of rows”.

7. Now click the cross sign on the left corner of the table so as to select the table.
8. Then right click.

10. In “Table Properties” dialog box, click “Row” first.
11. Check the “Specify height” box.

13. Then click “Column”.
14. Check “Preferred width” box.
15. Type a number as large as the width of your nameplate holder.

### Part 3: Steps to Insert WordArt

1. Lay your cursor at the first row.
2. Click “Insert”.
3. Then click “WordArt”.

5. And input your text.
6. On the second row, repeat the step 2 to step 5.![Insert WordArt Twice]( "Insert WordArt Twice")
7. Adjust the positions of both WordArt.
8. Click the first WordArt.
9. Put cursor on the green handle.

11. Right click the first WordArt.

13. Then click “Text Wrapping”.
14. Choose “In front of text” for “Wrapping style”.
15. Click “OK”.
16. Repeat step 11 to 14 for the second WordArt.
