# Quick Tips to Fix Background Images Which Keep Repeating in MS Outlook

MS Outlook gives the user the choice and freedom to insert a background picture or image in the email message to make their message appealing and focused for the receiver. Well, the problem encountered by many Outlook users is that by adding a background image in their email message, they find it getting repeated over and over again in length as well as in width of the message; which surely is annoying for the user. So, is there any way out to solve this problem? Yes, experts have come up with the main reason and the ways to solve this problem of background images repeating themselves in the emails. In this article, you will get to learn some quick tips to prevent these repeated background images in your Outlook emails.

The main reason put forward by the experts for the problem of repeated inserted background images in the email message is that it happens when the message window is either wider or higher or both as compared to the inserted background image. In other words, when the size of the message window and the background image differ, then the image inserted tends to fill or stretch to fit in the message window just like a desktop wallpaper does; however, the good news is that there is surely a way out to insert an image as a background image without getting it repeated in MS Outlook.

In case, you are working on **Outlook 2007 or 2010** versions, then you need to first choose the **Insert Tab** and select the **Picture Button** and insert your desired image or picture. Once you have inserted the picture, just do a right click on that picture and pick the option that states **Text Wrapping->Behind Text** and your problem of repeating background images in the message will get resolved instantly.

On the other hand, for **Outlook 2003** and other older version users, the step is first to set up MS Word as their email editor. After this, you will need to go to the **Tools Tab** and click on the **Options** and pick the **Mail Format**. Once this is done, you will need to insert your desired image by clicking on the **Insert Option** followed by selecting the **Picture Option** and then the **From File Option**. When you finished inserting the image or the picture, just do a right click on that image and select the **Format Picture Option** and choose the **Layout Tab**. Finally, set the **Wrapping Style** as **Behind Text** to fit the image properly in the email message of your choice.

Alternatively, you may even generate a message in the Windows Mail to prevent repeating of background images by going to the **Source Tab** and then locating the **“\<BODY>” Tag**. Then, insert **‘style+”background-repeat:no-repeat;”** just after the **“\<BODY>” tag** in order to avoid getting the background image repeated in the messages. You can then go back to the **Edit Tab** to save the changes.
