Applying Filters in Lists
In the BCM tool you can apply filters on lists and this can be applied on different record types including accounts or leads. Next you would need to choose the type of filter you wish to apply. This can be a simple filter or Advanced Filter. Please note that both the filter type results can be applied on the data. Applying Filters on Reports
Filters can be effectively applied on a report that you have generated in the BCM. Here you can apply the filter on any default report or even pick up a saved report. Once you have selected the report you need to go to the Sort and Filter group and hit on Filter. In the subsequent option window you can choose the requisite filter. Ideally if you are looking to filter reports for obtaining specific information you should try the Advanced Filter tab. This would involve you creating several set of queries or conditions which the data must match to appear in the report. Once the filter has been applied you just need to click on the Review Results tab to preview how the process is working. If you are satisfied with the results then just save the settings.
