At times while working together in Ms Outlook, you may need to zoom into your colleagues’ email client.
Have you ever come across a situation during a meeting or event, when you had to display your computer screen to colleagues or peers? Well, then the best practice would be to zoom in the screen quickly so as to enable everyone around in a meeting or conference to check out your screen and important details on it. This is where the need to learn how to Zoom in your email client while working together and sharing screens in MS Outlook becomes very essential and we will throw some light on this aspect in this article.
The easiest way to zoom in the screen very quickly is by simply holding down the CTRL key on the keyboard and scrolling up and down the wheel of your mouse. Remember, zooming in or out totally depends on the direction in which you turn the scroll wheel of your mouse. Moreover, it is important to bear in mind that this method will work fine in the Preview Pane of almost Outlook versions like 2003, 2007 and 2010. This is not all; this way of zooming into the display screen works fine in almost all the open emails of these mentioned versions of MS Outlook. Besides this, it works fine in MS Excel and MS Word too of 2003, 2007 and 2010 versions of MS Outlook.
There are other methods too to zoom in the display screen of your Outlook screen. For instance, holding the CTRL key on the keyboard and using the (+) plus or (-) minus keys can zoom in and zoom out respectively starting from 0% to 100% in a fraction of seconds. Moreover, using the Zoom Button, you can even set it to 100% zoom to get the biggest and clearest view of the screen.
Third way of zooming into the screen is by using the Zoom Button that is present on the ribbon. Just open the Zoom Dialog Box and choose the preferred Zoom Level on it. The best thing is 2010 and 2013 versions of MS Outlook is that they come with a Zoom Slider that is present on the main Outlook Window Status Bar just below the To-Do Bar present on the right hand side. Using this slider, you can easily adjust the zoom of your screen right in the reading pane.
Another important thing worth mentioning regarding the Zoom Feature is that it is always on while composing a message. However, you can always reset the zoom level by changing the level and closing it before sending the message. This can be by first opening the message and selecting the Zoom Button present on the Ribbon and then changing the Zoom Level as per choice. After this close your message and lastly select the new message and you will notice the zoom in your desired level.
