  1. First and foremost, place your cursor at the footnote.
  2. Then, right click on it.
  3. Next choose “Paragraph” on the list-menu.Choose "Paragraph"
  4. Now the “Paragraph” dialog box will pop up. You should click “Line and Page Breaks” tab first.Click "Home" ->Click "Paragraph" Button

Or you can open the dialog box by clicking the “Paragraph” button in “Paragraph” group under “Home” tab.

  1. Next check “Keep lines together” box in “Pagination” part.
  2. Lastly, remember to click “OK”.Click "Line and Page Breaks" ->Check "Keep lines together" Box ->Click "OK"
