The Little Monarch

1. Lost in the Palace

Scotland wandered through the grand halls of Buckingham Palace, its vast corridors and regal tapestries causing her to feel increasingly lost. Turning one corner led to another and soon she found herself in a room richly decorated with ornate furniture and shimmering chandeliers. Uncertain of how she had ended up here, Scotland cautiously explored the opulent chamber.

As she moved further into the room, she came across a large, intricately carved door. Pushing it open tentatively, she gasped as she realized she had stumbled upon England’s grand throne room. The throne itself sat imposingly at the far end of the room, draped in luxurious velvet and adorned with the royal coat of arms. Scotland couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at the sight before her.

The room itself seemed to radiate power and history, the walls lined with portraits of monarchs past and the shelves filled with ancient tomes. Scotland couldn’t quite believe her luck at having found this hidden treasure within the palace. She lingered for a moment, taking in the grandeur of the room before reluctantly tearing herself away to try and find her way back out of the labyrinthine palace.

2. The Throne Room Encounter

As Scotland entered the grand throne room, a wave of unease washed over him. He spotted England, sitting regally on the throne with a playful bear plushie held tightly in his small hands. The scene was a stark contrast to the seriousness of the setting.

Scotland couldn’t help but chuckle softly at the sight before him. England, usually known for his stern demeanor, appeared surprisingly innocent and vulnerable clutching the fluffy bear. It was a rare glimpse into a more childlike side of his fellow country.

Approaching England cautiously, Scotland cleared his throat to announce his presence. England looked up, a faint blush coloring his cheeks as he quickly set the plushie aside. The tension in the room dissipated slightly, replaced by a more lighthearted atmosphere.

Despite the unexpected encounter, Scotland felt a sense of camaraderie with England in that moment. It was a reminder that even in the most formal of settings, there was still room for moments of playfulness and shared humanity.

As they began their discussion, the memory of England clutching the bear plushie lingered in Scotland’s mind, serving as a gentle reminder that beneath the facade of power and authority, there was always a softer side waiting to be revealed.
