1. Liz’s Arrival at Hogwarts

American 4 year old Liz arrives at Hogwarts as a Gryffindor with her Maine Coon cat Gideon by her side.

When Liz stepped foot on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she couldn’t contain her excitement. As an American, she had never experienced anything quite like this before. The towering castle in front of her seemed straight out of a fairy tale, and she couldn’t wait to explore every nook and cranny.

Being sorted into Gryffindor brought a sense of pride to Liz. She had always considered herself brave and courageous, and being part of this house only solidified that belief. With Gideon, her loyal Maine Coon cat, by her side, Liz felt like she could conquer anything that came her way.

As she walked through the halls, Liz couldn’t help but marvel at the moving staircases and enchanted portraits that adorned the walls. Everything seemed so magical and different from the world she had known back home. But Liz was determined to make the most of this new adventure and learn everything she could about the wizarding world.

From her first day at Hogwarts, Liz knew that this would be a journey unlike any other. With Gideon as her faithful companion and Gryffindor as her new family, she was ready to embrace all the challenges and wonders that awaited her at the magical school.

2. Meeting Professor Snape

Upon meeting Professor Snape for the first time, Liz found herself trembling with fear. His dark eyes seemed to pierce right through her, and his stern demeanor was enough to send chills down her spine. However, as time went on, Liz began to realize that Professor Snape was not as terrifying as she initially thought.

Despite his intimidating appearance, Liz discovered that Professor Snape was actually a very knowledgeable and dedicated teacher. He had a passion for his subject and pushed his students to perform to the best of their abilities. While his demeanor may have been harsh at times, Liz soon understood that it was all in the name of helping them succeed.

Through interactions with Professor Snape both inside and outside the classroom, Liz began to see a different side of him. She saw that he had a dry sense of humor and a genuine concern for his students’ well-being. Slowly but surely, Liz’s fear dissipated, and she came to respect and admire Professor Snape for the teacher that he was.
