A Fairy’s Wish

1. Banished

As Tinkerbell and Peter Pan soared through the sky, their wings beating in synchrony, laughter filled the air. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the Neverland landscape. Tinkerbell darted ahead, her mischievous grin catching Peter’s eye. “Race you to the second star to the right!” she called out, her voice tinkling like chimes.

But as they flew higher and faster, Tinkerbell’s cheerful demeanor shifted. She turned to Peter, her expression suddenly serious. “Peter, I’m worried about you growing up,” she confessed, her delicate wings fluttering nervously. Peter’s face clouded over at the mention of growing up, a subject he had always avoided. “Tink, don’t be ridiculous. Why would you even think about such things?” he snapped, the tension between them palpable.

Continuing on in silence, their once carefree flight now weighed down by unspoken fears, they finally landed on a small cloud. Tinkerbell’s frustration bubbled to the surface. “Peter, you can’t stay young forever. It’s not fair to pretend that you’ll never change,” she implored, her voice tinged with sadness. Peter’s eyes narrowed, his pride stung by her words. “If you can’t accept me for who I am, maybe it’s best if we part ways,” he declared, the finality in his tone cutting through the night sky like a blade.

With a heavy heart, Tinkerbell realized the depth of their disagreement. As Peter turned away, spreading his wings to leave, Tinkerbell watched him disappear into the darkness, banished from her side by the harsh reality of time moving forward.
