Using Advanced PDF Repair to Recover Damaged or Corrupt PDF Files |

When your Acrobat PDF files are damaged or corrupt due to various reasons and you cannot open them normally, you can use Advanced PDF Repair to scan the PDF files and recover the data from the files as much as possible.

Start Advanced PDF Repair. |

Before recovering damaged or corrupt PDF file with Advanced PDF Repair, please close Acrobat Reader and any other applications that may access the PDF file. |

| By default, Advanced PDF Repair will save the fixed PDF file into a new file named xxxx_fixed.pdf, where xxxx is the name of the source PDF file. For example, for source PDF file Damaged.pdf, the default fixed file will be Damaged_fixed.pdf. If you want to use another name, then please select or set it accordingly: |

You can input the fixed file name directly or click button to browse and select the fixed file. |

| Step 4 |
Click button, Advanced PDF Repair will start scanning and repairing the source PDF file. Progress bar will indicate the repair progress.
After the repair process, if the source PDF file can be repaired successfully, you will see a messagebox like this:

Now you can open the fixed PDF file with Acrobat Reader or other PDF compatible applications. |

The demo version will display the following messagebox to show the success of the recovery:

where you can click button to see a preview of the recovered PDF document, like this:

According to the preview, you can know whether Advanced PDF Repair can recover your PDF file successfully and get what you want. However, the demo version will not save the fixed PDF file. Please order the full version to get the file. |
